Objectives Responsibilities
a) To identify the current and future education, training and development needs for the commercial property industry.

b) To identify and discuss solutions that can be used by SAPOA (through strategic partnerships) to address education, training and development needs.

c) To discuss education, training and development strategies to be implemented in order to professionalize the Commercial Property Industry through SAPOA.

d) To represent the Commercial Property Industry at the Services SETA.

e) Give effect to the Property Charter principles around skills development and training.
i) Determine skills gap and need for new courses for the Industry.

ii) Ensure that SAPOA is effectively facilitating and monitoring education courses and workshops and that these are aligned to the SAPOA business strategy and national skills development strategies.

iii) Promote property industry at school, FET and university levels.

iv) Promote and create an awareness of different careers in the property industry.

v) Active participation in the Skills Development objectives indicated in the Property Transformation Charter.

vi) Participate with the EAAB as well as the SERVICES STRUCTURES such as the property chamber board
