DRAFT CODE OF CONDUCT OF THE INFORMATION REGULATOR ON GATED ACCESS
The Information Regulator has recently circulated a draft Own Initiative Code of Conduct on Gated Access (“the Draft Code”), which was introduced at a stakeholder engagement session arranged by the Information Regulator on 18 February 2026.

Members were advised late in April 2025 that SAPOA is continuing its engagements with the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (“the DMRE”) and SANEDI regarding the requirements that office buildings have to display valid Energy Performance Certificates (“EPCs”) by 7 December 2025.
